Poshmark runs the shortest fee schedule in resale: a flat $2.95 under $15, and 20 percent at $15 and up. Type the sale price and the receipt shows the commission and what you keep. Shipping rides on Poshmark's prepaid label, paid by the buyer.

The fee waterfall
How Poshmark charges · the rates on this receipt
One commission buys the whole transaction: the payment processing, the prepaid pre-addressed label, and Poshmark's support on the sale. The catch hides at the bottom of the range. Under $15 the flat $2.95 is a bigger bite than 20% would be, and it grows as the price falls: on a $9.00 sale it is a third of the price. One more line for Texas sellers: since October 1, 2025, Poshmark deducts a Texas Seller Fee Tax from earnings for sellers located in Texas; it is a tax on the fee, not a fee change, and it is not in this receipt. Poshmark fees, answered plainly
How much does Poshmark take per sale?
One commission, in two shapes. Under $15, a flat $2.95. At $15 or more, 20% of the sale price. That is the whole schedule: no listing fee, no subscription, no separate processing charge. On a $40.00 sale the commission is $8.00 and you keep $32.00. The receipt above runs the same math on your price, including the under $15 tier most calculators skip.
What are Poshmark fees in 2026?
Using Poshmark's published schedule as of October 2026: flat $2.95 on sales under $15, 20% on sales of $15 or more. The commission includes the financial transaction and the prepaid, pre-addressed shipping label; shipping itself is paid by the buyer at Poshmark's flat rate. Listings are free and stay up until they sell. What the schedule does not have is a cheaper tier for volume: the 20% is the 20% at ten sales a month and at ten thousand.
Why do small Poshmark sales keep so little?
The flat fee. Under $15, Poshmark takes $2.95 whether the item sells for $14 or for $5. On a $12.00 sale the commission is $2.95 and you keep $9.05, which makes the flat fee 24.6% of the sale, a higher rate than the 20% tier above it. This is arithmetic, not a complaint about the platform: the commission also covers processing and the label. But it is why small items earn better bundled into one sale over $15 than listed one by one under it.
What happens to the fee right at $15?
The tiers switch at $15.00, and the keep line dips as they do. At $14.99 you pay the flat $2.95 and keep $12.04. At $15.00 the 20% tier starts, the fee becomes $3.00, and you keep $12.00. Your keep does not pass the $14.99 result again until the price reaches $15.05. Four cents is four cents; on a firm price at exactly $15, it is worth knowing which side of the line you are on.
